Before you invite
Confirm you can manage the target server. Decide which voice channel will be the music room. Kick or mute duplicate music bots temporarily so commands do not collide.
Invite Smooth
Open https://smoothbot.in/invite (or Add to Discord on the site), pick your server, approve connect/speak and command permissions, then join a voice channel.
On the OAuth screen, select only the server you intend to use. After authorize, Smooth appears in the member list like any other bot user.

Voice and channel permissions
In Server Settings → Roles (or the channel permission overrides), give Smooth Connect and Speak in the music voice channel. If you use category overrides, check those too.
If your server hides bots from text channels, allow Smooth to see the channel where slash commands are used.
Play your first track
Join the voice channel first. Use Smooth slash commands to search or paste a Spotify, YouTube, Apple Music, or SoundCloud link.
You should hear audio within a few seconds. If not, re-check Speak permission and whether another bot already locked the channel.
